The Deep - S04

Get ready for a massive art dump!!

With the release of the latest season of The Deep (S04) now done and dusted, I can finally reveal some of the concept art I produced for a handful of episodes about 2 years ago!!

-

Fun fact: I helped with the original comic 10 years previously - what a trip to work on the TV show a decade later!!

-

It was a short, sharp gig - but i loved getting back into concept art. I primarily painted over rough 3d models to achieve a quick turnaround.

-

Hope you get a chance to check out the show, on Netflix (Internationally) and ABC (if you're in Australia), glad to see not much at all if anything was changed from concept to screen!

Sometimes concept art isn't just cool designs of props or monsters, it is planning the logistics of a scene!

Although posted last, I believe this was one of my first concepts I did after reading the script.
